COVID-19 India Lockdown Update Covid-19 situation in India has surpassed critical with the country reporting over 300K+ cases of COVID-19 infections for over a week. The positivity rate and deaths related to complications of Covid-19 have rose by 3,417 and counting. Myanmar SituationAs the world is aware the Myanmar military overthrew the democratic government in a coup on February 1, and declared a year-long state of emergency.

The standoff has turned deadly with more than 700 people killed during several protest sites.

Stockwell International has been advised that due to the current situation in Myanmar all bookings have been suspended. 

As we can all understand this will cause congestion and delays, Stockwells will endeavour to keep up to date with information as it becomes available. 

There is no current advice on when bookings will be taken again.

BMSB 2020-2021 Season Dear Customers,

Stockwell International has received reminder notice from Department of Agriculture Water and the Environment in regards to measures to protect against Brown marmorated stink bugNow that we are in the home stretch to the end of the season, there has been confirmation of current end dates. 

The DAWE would like to remind importers that the measures apply to goods shipped from 1 September 2020 that arrive in Australian territory by 31 May 2021 (inclusive).

Goods shipped between 1 September 2020 and 30 April 2021 need to be treated and may be referred for intervention if they arrive by 31 May 2021 (inclusive).

Goods with a shipped on board date of 1 May 2021 onwards arriving by 31 May 2021 may be subject to inspection.

Any goods arriving from 1 June 2021 onwards will be deemed as out of scope and not subject to the measures.

Break Bulk (including open top and flat rack)

We would like to remind all customers that all break bulk is subject to mandatory offshore treatment prior to arrival into Australia.
 
Any break bulk arriving into Australia untreated, will be prevented from discharge and directed for export as per DAWE policy. No exemptions for onshore treatment will be granted.
